Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company FT Open Season

Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company is soliciting binding bids from Shippers interested in acquiring firm transportation utilizing Panhandle’s Firm Transportation Service (Rate Schedule FT) under the following criteria:

 

Primary Receipt Points: PEPL Field Zone Points (subject to available capacity)

Primary Delivery Point: DTE Gas Co – Detroit (MCON)

Open Season CQ: Up to 37,300 Dth/d

Term: April 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026

 

 

Any interested party must complete the attached binding bid form and return it to Panhandle, via email as directed below.   The deadline for submitting bids is 12 PM CST on Friday, February 20, 2026.   

 

All bids shall be deemed to be binding on Shippers.  Panhandle reserves the right to reject or accept any conforming or non-conforming bids.  Bids that do not meet the criteria set forth above, are incomplete or would require changes to the FT Form of Service Agreement set forth in Panhandle’s Tariff will be deemed non-conforming bids.  Panhandle’s discretion to reject or accept a bid, including any non-conforming bid, shall be exercised on a not unduly discriminatory basis.

 

After the close of this Open Season, Panhandle will evaluate all conforming and acceptable bids.  Awards of capacity, if any, will be based on the greatest unitized net present value (per Dth) of the reservation charges produced by an acceptable bid received in this Open Season.  Bids with an equal unitized net present value will be awarded on a pro rata basis. Successful bids will be awarded by EOB on Friday, February 20, 2026.
